The third refrigeration conference was sold out in Moscow

On October 6, the Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted the annual refrigeration conference at the  exhibition Agroprodmash: "Refrigeration Industry: Effective Solutions for the Food and Processing Industry 2021".

The highlight of the event was CO2 refrigeration.  

 The event was held with a full hall. In total, about 150 people attended the conference.

Among them were both industry professionals from refrigeration companies: Danfoss, NSK, Carel, Guntner, Kelvion, SIV Transholod, Polair, Emerson, and representatives of customers - consumers of refrigeration equipment: retail: X5, Magnit; meat processing: Vladimir standard, Cherkizovo, Dmitrogorsky meat processing plant, Velikiye Luki meat processing plant; milk processing: Wimm-Bill-Dann.

A brief summary of the speeches and presentations of the speakers 

  • The Chairman of the Board of Rossoyuzholodprom, Yuri N. Dubrovin, opened the conference with an introductory speech and told about the problems of the industry, and how the association together with the members of the union is looking for their solutions. 

 

  • Hristofor Djibgashvili, Director of Ingenium, presented the report "CO2 refrigeration systems: economic and technological advantages", in which he spoke about the prospects of carbon dioxide as a refrigerant against the background of the introduced quotas for the consumption of freons and their associated sharp rise in price. He gave examples of CO2 energy efficiency by 10-30% compared to refrigerant R507A.

 

  • Sergey Pleshanov, Technical Director of company Land, shared annual experience of operating the distribution center of the Pyaterochka retail chain (X5 Retail) in Podolsk on the basis of a transcritical refrigeration unit on carbon dioxide (CO2).
  • Alexander Belolipetsky, Head of the Department for the Operation of distribution centers of X5 Retail Group, took part in the report.

 

  • Mikhail Kartsev, Chief Engineer of Cryofrost Engineering, demonstrated the expertise of two large projects of the GLOBUS retail network at once: a distribution center and a hypermarket. 
  • Vitaly Belozertsev, a leading refrigeration engineer at GLOBUS, took part in the presentation.

 

  • Sergey Zakharov, Commercial Director of LU-VE, presented the capabilities of the international company for the development and production of customized products at the request of customers at the factory in Russia.
  • Alexey Odintsov, Sales Manager of LU-VE industrial refrigeration equipment, presented the company's model range and the most popular solutions for the food industry.

 

  • Maxim Peregudov, Chief Specialist of ALFA Contracting, spoke about the benefits of heat recovery in industrial refrigeration units on the example of the implemented poultry farm project.

 

  • Maria Kolkasova, head of the direction "Wholesale distribution centers and vegetable and fruit storages" of Thermocool company, presented the company's capabilities for the implementation of large turnkey projects on the example of equipping a meat and meat slaughterhouse with refrigeration, climate and ventilation equipment.

 

  • Dmitry Galkin, chief engineer of the projects of water-chemical regimes of water circulation cycles "Spectroplast", spoke about solutions for the preservation and restoration of heat exchangers in water circulation systems.

 

  • Maxim Talyzin, Candidate of Technical Sciences, presented an overview of alternative refrigerants comparing the pros and cons of natural and synthetic refrigerants.
