Panasonic Heating & Cooling has launched a refreshed visual brand identity in Europe following the formation of Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. on 1 April 2026. The dedicated organisation brings together Panasonic’s global heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cold-chain activities.
The brand update comes alongside investment in European manufacturing, R&D and training. Panasonic’s most recent project is a €320 million [approx. $376 million] expansion and refurbishment of its heat pump production facility in Pilsen, Czech Republic, which supports production of solutions including the Aquarea M Series.
The Czech site combines production and R&D and operates as a Net Zero site, supported by green energy purchases, a 1 MW photovoltaic roof system, smart building management and resource efficiency measures. Panasonic also has HVAC manufacturing and R&D capabilities in France and Italy, commercial and CO2 refrigeration capabilities in Poland, and a renewable energy demonstration facility in the UK.
Enrique Vilamitjana, Managing Director of Panasonic Heating & Cooling Europe, said: “Europe’s heating and cooling needs are changing quickly. Customers are looking for solutions that reduce energy use, support decarbonisation and deliver reliable comfort over the long term. Our renewed identity reflects a business combining Panasonic’s global technology strength with solutions that are relevant to the European market.”
Vilamitjana added: “This brand evolution builds on Panasonic’s century-long engineering heritage, while reflecting our continued investment in the future. By expanding our European manufacturing, R&D and training capabilities, we can strengthen our ability to respond to customer needs with greater speed, relevance and resilience, while demonstrating our long-term commitment to the region.”
