Trane has introduced new AI and digital solutions across Trane Cloud applications, connected controls and intelligent thermal management. The portfolio is designed to connect building data, maintenance workflows and system management across commercial buildings and mission-critical environments, including data centers.
Trane Cloud Analytics uses connected equipment and system data to provide prioritized insights related to energy, comfort and reliability. Trane Maintenance Manager centralizes work orders, asset records, maintenance history and documentation in Trane Cloud to streamline maintenance workflows and support repair, replacement and capital planning decisions.
For building controls, the Cloud Connected BACnet Thermostat provides cloud-based building management for light commercial buildings without requiring a full existing Building Management System (BMS). It supports remote monitoring, rooftop and heat pump applications, and compatibility with existing HVAC equipment. Tracer Zone Sensors add wired and wireless 4-in-1 sensing technology for new construction, upgrades, retrofits and remodeling projects.
Trane is also introducing AI Control for Water Systems, which continuously learns and helps adjust chiller plant setpoints to improve plant efficiency, coordinated capacity management and performance across existing chilled water systems.
For data centers, Chiller Plant Manager interprets live operating data and uses built-in redundancy and rapid decision logic to coordinate cooling plant performance. Data Hall Team Control embeds system-level intelligence at the unit level, coordinating multiple cooling units as one system with built-in redundancy and automated failover.
“As building operations become more connected and more complex, we’re evolving our AI and digital portfolio to help customers operate with greater clarity and control,” said Chris Tanaka, Vice President of Product Management, Trane Technologies.
