It is a unique event: In 2022, WorldSkills, the World Championships of Professions, holds for the first time in 15 different countries and regions of the world as a Special Edition with 61 skill competitions. The WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition is thus the official replacement for WorldSkills Shanghai 2022, which was cancelled at the end of May.
One venue for the WorldSkills Competition is the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre (NürnbergMesse) with the international trade fair Chillventa.
Here, from 10 to 13 October 2022, the best specialists in refrigeration and air conditioning technology are competing against each other.
Competitors from a total of 16 nations will compete for the world championship title. Over 20 hours spread over 4 days, the specialists have to solve tasks at the highest level.
The award ceremony for the participants will take place on October 14, 2022 at 6 p.m.
