Arneg India is celebrating its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of development in commercial refrigeration systems. CEO Dipankar Kar highlighted the milestone as a moment of pride, recognizing the company’s journey of growth, innovation, and long-term collaboration with partners and customers.
Reflecting on key moments, Kar recalled the local production of glass doors for refrigeration cabinets as a turning point. This development reduced reliance on imports, improved efficiency, and strengthened the company’s market position in India. “It symbolized Arneg India’s growth and our commitment to innovation and self-reliance,” he said.
Kar credited the support of the parent company, Arneg Group, for enabling the Indian division to expand its product development and manufacturing capabilities. He emphasized that trust from headquarters played a central role in building local capacity and confidence.
Looking ahead, Kar outlined a vision focused on sustainable, energy-efficient, and customized refrigeration solutions tailored to India’s dynamic retail sector. He acknowledged future challenges such as rapid technological shifts and competitive pressures but expressed confidence in the team’s ability to adapt and thrive.
