MIRAI INTEX has expanded the operating envelope of its propane turbocompressor and updated its integrated engineering calculator for OEM refrigeration equipment manufacturers. The calculator now supports systems with an economizer and compressor performance modeling under part-load conditions.
The updated tool is designed to help engineers calculate operating parameters, analyze different refrigeration system scenarios and reduce manual engineering calculations. The expanded operating envelope allows system developers to evaluate compressor performance across a wider range of operating conditions.
The MIRAI propane turbocompressor is 100% oil-free and uses gas-dynamic bearings. Listed features include high part-load efficiency, minimal maintenance, integrated control and protection, low noise and no vibration, and soft start and fast restart of ≤55 seconds. The compressor uses R290, with GWP 0.02 and ODP 0.
The updated calculator is available to MIRAI INTEX partners through the OEM Partner Zone.
MIRAI INTEX will also present a new propane turbocompressor model at Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany, from October 13–15. The company said the model will expand its existing product range and provide additional possibilities for integration into industrial refrigeration systems.
