The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) provides live online training for HVAC contractors and their employees, covering technical skills, business management, customer service, and leadership. The training is available to company owners, managers, technicians, and office staff through ACCA membership.
Training sessions are conducted virtually with live instructors, allowing participants to ask questions directly. This format gives contractors and their teams access to professional education without attending in-person courses.
ACCA’s training topics include HVAC system design, airflow and zoning, whole-home humidification, heat exchanger inspection, and residential and commercial HVAC operations. Courses also address Manual J survey techniques and HVAC system replacement.
According to ACCA, new equipment, changing refrigerant regulations, and increasing customer expectations create a continuing need for professional development. The association also provides members with representation in Washington and access to a nationwide network of contractors.
“Good training shouldn’t be out of reach for any contractor,” said Martin Hoover, ACCA interim president and CEO. “We know how hard it is to pull people off jobs and pay for outside courses.”
ACCA members can view available training sessions and register at acca.org/education/events.
