Danfoss Climate Solutions has expanded its wholesale distribution sales team in North America with five new hires to strengthen support for distributors and contractors. The appointments include two account managers, a channel development manager, a channel sales manager and a technical training manager.
James Taylor joins as channel development manager, responsible for business promotions, recruiting distribution partners and managing the Danfoss distribution partner program. Jason Sniff, appointed channel sales manager, will lead account managers in developing territory strategies and strengthening distributor relationships. Taylor brings over 30 years of industry experience, while Sniff has more than 25 years.
Nelson Pinero will serve as account manager for Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and parts of Texas and Missouri. Robert McConnell will support distribution partners in New York and New England. Pinero has over 35 years of HVACR experience, while McConnell brings more than 20 years in technical product distribution.
Tony Schluttenhofer joins as technical training manager, bringing over 20 years of experience as an HVAC service technician and trainer. He will collaborate with account managers to deliver product training and informational visits at distributor locations for contractor networks.
According to Danfoss, the expanded team is intended to improve responsiveness, increase in-person customer interactions and provide distributors with a single point of contact. The company also plans to hire two additional account managers in the coming months.
“Building relationships with distributors and contractors is essential to our business. We want to be seen as a consistent partner in the channel and provide distributors and contractors with the knowledge and confidence to promote Danfoss products to their customers,” said Rick Sporrer, director of indirect sales in North America.
