The HVAC&R South 2025 trade event will debut a dedicated HVAC&R hub for the first time, offering a platform to showcase advancements in the refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industries. The event will be held at the Wolfbrook Arena in Addington, Christchurch, on May 28-29, 2025.
Co-hosted by IRHACE (Institute of Refrigeration, Heating & Air Conditioning Engineers of New Zealand) and CCCANZ (Climate Control Companies Association of New Zealand), the HVAC&R hub provides a unique opportunity for companies to display innovative solutions and technologies to an audience of industry professionals and decision-makers.
The hub is part of the larger SouthMACH 2025, the South Island’s premier trade exhibition for engineering, manufacturing, and technology sectors. SouthMACH, held biennially, is expected to draw over 2,000 professionals and feature more than 100 exhibitors. Organizers report that 94% of exhibitors at previous shows were satisfied or very satisfied with the leads generated during the event.
SouthMACH has long been a pivotal event for businesses looking to connect with New Zealand’s leading manufacturers, engineers, and technology firms. For HVAC&R companies, the new dedicated hub provides targeted exposure to potential clients and partners within the South Island market.
