A-Gas launches RefHub refrigerant management platform in UK

The mobile-ready platform will streamline refrigerant and waste returns, cut paperwork and support digital waste tracking.

A-Gas launches RefHub refrigerant management platform in UK

A-Gas will launch RefHub, its new digital refrigerant management platform, in the UK on 1 October. The customer platform will initially focus on refrigerant and waste returns, supporting the UK’s move to digital waste tracking while reducing paperwork.

RefHub captures digital returns information as part of the customer workflow, supporting A-Gas’s UK waste reporting obligations and reducing administration. The platform is designed for access from desktop and mobile devices, with the initial functionality intended to simplify returns and provide easier access to information.

A-Gas plans to expand RefHub over time to include cylinder visibility, inventory, rentals, reporting and additional customer self-service. The platform’s foundations are also designed to support other markets and regional requirements, including areas such as F-gas recordkeeping and reporting.

The company said RefHub is designed to connect customers with A-Gas services and the refrigerant lifecycle, including recovery and returns. Its experience can be tailored to different customer groups, channels and local requirements.

“Digital waste tracking is the first milestone. Our ambition is for RefHub to become the everyday platform connecting customers with A-Gas,” said Simon Launder, Chief Technology Officer at A-Gas.
