Emergent Cold to Build Food Warehouse in Guadalajara

Emergent Cold Latin America (Emergent Cold LatAm), a leading temperature-controlled logistics and storage provider, has announced plans to construct a new food warehouse in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The facility will offer 12,000 pallet positions and cover a 30,000 square meter area, with provisions for future expansions that could double its storage capacity. Guadalajara, Mexico’s third-largest city, strategically connects customers to the ports of Manzanillo and Lázaro Cárdenas.

Juan Pablo Benitez, Managing Director of Emergent Cold LatAm in Mexico, emphasized the company's commitment to rapid growth and high-quality services: “We are responding to customer demand and are committed to offering temperature-controlled food storage and value-added services in all areas where customers seek modern infrastructure and high-quality logistical services.”

This new endeavor follows the recent expansions of warehouses in Villagrán (Guanajuato) and Apodaca, and the ongoing construction of a facility in Monterrey, which together add nearly 34,000 positions.

Since starting operations in Mexico in September 2022 with the acquisition of Bajo Cero, and later Qualianz in January, Emergent Cold LatAm now operates over 30 warehouses across Mexico with a combined capacity exceeding 1 million cubic meters and nearly 200,000 pallet positions.
