Lineage’s Latest Cold Storage Facility Begins Operations Near Phoenix

Lineage, one of the world’s leading temperature-controlled industrial REITs and integrated solutions providers, announced its facility in Waddell, Arizona, has launched operations. As the company’s first public warehouse in the Phoenix market, the new facility provides additional temperature-controlled storage capacity for perishable goods as well as logistical solutions that enable expanded access across the Southwestern United States, including the Greater Los Angeles area.

“Our team has worked tirelessly to bring this project to fruition, and we are proud to offer a facility that embodies Lineage’s commitment to excellence in cold storage and logistics,” said John Dahmen, VP of Regional Operations overseeing the Waddell facility. “We are excited to support the local community and contribute to the stability and efficiency of the food supply chain in the region.”

Lineage’s Waddell facility offers customized storage and integrated logistical solutions designed to meet customers’ needs while simultaneously maximizing efficiencies in their supply chains. These services include case picking, cross-docking, defrosting/tempering, temperature reduction, transloading, managed transportation and more.

The facility was constructed by Cold Summit Development. It spans approximately 170,000 square feet and includes about 28,000 pallet positions. Located at 9600 N. 151st Avenue, the facility is equipped with 20 dock doors, double deep racking, drop trailer/container plug-ins, and temperature flexibility ranging from -20°F to 50°F, accommodating a variety of temperature-sensitive products.
