The pfenning group has begun construction on its new logistics hub, Multicube Münsterland, in Ladbergen, Germany, expanding its logistics area by 20,000 m² to a total of 37,000 m². This sustainable logistics project is situated on a historic site owned by their subsidiary, Oelrich Logistics, since 1950.

The project, marked by the official foundation stone ceremony on October 16, 2024, involves modernizing the site with new structures and sustainable logistics concepts. The redevelopment includes a bimodal connection to the port of Westladbergen on the Dortmund-Ems Canal, enhancing potential logistics solutions for varied customer segments.

Martin Oelrich, Managing Director of Oelrich Logistics, highlighted the innovative logistics solutions the project will provide. Rana Matthias Nag, CEO of the pfenning group, emphasized the project's role in strengthening their market presence and delivering advanced logistics solutions.

Ladbergen's mayor, Torsten Buller, expressed enthusiasm, noting the project's regional impact through job security and promoting sustainable logistics development.
