Employers and stakeholders will address training pathways, qualification design and efforts to attract more young people to the sector.

IOR Skills Alliance sets UK meeting for 24 September

The IOR Industry Skills Alliance will hold its next in-person meeting in London on 24 September. The meeting will focus on aligning training provision with industry needs and supporting entry into the profession.

Key areas include strengthening apprenticeship and T Level pathways, shaping qualification design, expanding STEM and early engagement activity, and increasing the number of young people entering the sector.

The Alliance brings together employers and stakeholders and provides a consistent voice to awarding bodies, government and policy stakeholders.

Attendance and membership are free. The Alliance welcomes expertise from policy, industry and educational backgrounds.
