KEYTER has introduced the ARION eco KZTB, a high-temperature, heating-only water-to-water heat pump optimized for large temperature lifts. The series produces hot water up to 87°C (189°F) and provides heating capacities from 584 to 2,200 kW (approximately 1.99 to 7.51 million BTU/h).
The range uses Bitzer inverter screw compressors with external variable-frequency drives, shell-and-tube heat exchangers and R1234ze refrigerant with a GWP of 4 and a low refrigerant charge. It also includes a Siemens Aquamatix controller.
At evaporator water conditions of 40/30°C (104/86°F) and condenser conditions of 45/75°C (113/167°F), capacities range from 583.9 to 2,096.7 kW, with COP values from 4.98 to 5.44. At 45/35°C (113/95°F) on the evaporator and 55/85°C (131/185°F) on the condenser, capacities range from 604.3 to 2,195.9 kW, with COP values from 4.18 to 4.65. COP values are calculated in accordance with EN 14511:2022.
KEYTER lists industrial hot-water production, boiler replacement, district heating networks, waste-heat recovery and booster applications using low-temperature waste heat among the intended uses. The full range is installed on a single chassis, with options including IP55 variable-frequency drives, compressor acoustic insulation, enclosed-unit ventilation and polyurethane insulation in 10 or 20 mm thickness.
