The conference ” Refrigeration industry: effective solutions for food industry”
The first conference “Refrigeration industry” with the support of Russian Union of refrigeration industry enterprises and Expocentre Fairgrounds was held on October 10 at the exhibition “Agroprodmash 2019”.
The event was attended by about 100 people. Among the participants of the event are refrigeration companies, representatives of the food sector and retail with a wide coverage by geography and specialization: Cherkizovo, Siberian Gourmet (Novosibirsk), Vitebsk meat processing plant (Belarus), Murmansk sea fishing port, Vkusville and others.
Speakers from Dorin, Johnson controls, Ingenium, EBM-Papst Rus, Profholod, Guentner, Isopan Rus, Alfa Contracting, Refcool, Carel Rus, Technofrost made speeches at the conference. Read conference program and list of speakers.

Representatives of the leading refrigeration companies highlighted the following issues in their speeches:
- Application of CO2 refrigeration systems and comparison of their efficiency with other types of refrigerants
- Freezing of products in box freezers
- Audit and improvement of energy efficiency of refrigeration equipment and engineering systems at the operating enterprise
- Modernization of refrigeration equipment with the introduction of energy-saving fans
- Improving energy efficiency of buildings and cold storage with the use of modern thermal insulation materials
