A-Gas Partners with Temasek Polytechnic to Enhance Refrigerant Recovery Skills

A-Gas in Singapore has teamed up with Temasek Polytechnic to offer a one-day Refrigerant Handling for Chillers refresher course. This initiative aims to keep industry professionals updated on the latest best practices, safety methods, and environmental regulations in refrigerant handling.

The refresher course, required by Singapore's National Environment Agency three years after the initial training, ensures that Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) technicians stay compliant with evolving industry standards. The course provides a comprehensive hands-on learning experience, bridging knowledge gaps in safe refrigerant handling.

A-Gas technicians collaborate with Temasek Polytechnic instructors to provide diverse training on refrigerant recovery, system installation, and maintenance. Successful participants receive a Certificate of Accomplishment, demonstrating their expertise in responsible refrigerant handling.

By equipping professionals with these crucial skills, A-Gas supports the circular economy and helps businesses reduce global greenhouse gas emissions. "Working with Temasek Polytechnic highlights the essential role of education in promoting environmentally conscious practices," said Irvine Chen, Product Sales Manager, A-Gas in Singapore.
