Accelsius Launches NeuGuard Support Program for Data Center Liquid Cooling

Accelsius has introduced NeuGuard, a comprehensive enterprise-grade support program designed to enhance the reliability of data center liquid cooling systems. The program supports next-generation AI and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructures by providing extended warranty coverage, expert support, and minimized downtime.

NeuGuard is built on Accelsius’ NeuCool system, a two-phase, direct-to-chip liquid cooling solution. It is backed by one of the largest warranty-related insurance providers in the U.S., CNA, which developed a multi-year warranty based on the resilience of NeuCool.

Financial Protection for Data Centers

Data center outages can be costly, with a 2024 Uptime Institute survey revealing that 54% of respondents experienced outages exceeding $100,000, and 16% reported costs surpassing $1 million. To mitigate these risks, NeuGuard provides up to $100,000 per rack in coverage for internal damage caused by any internal NeuCool leaks. Although NeuCool’s refrigerant is non-conductive and eco-friendly, this coverage underscores Accelsius’ commitment to reliability and risk reduction.

“Data center operators have invested tens of millions of dollars in their server racks, and the need for reliable cooling solutions has never been greater,” said Josh Claman, CEO of Accelsius. “NeuGuard is designed to protect these substantial investments while maximizing system uptime and providing professional, timely, and accurate support.”

Jeff Manuel, Vice President of Underwriting for CNA Warranty & Alternative Risks, emphasized the importance of infrastructure protection:
“Protecting critical computing infrastructure is more important than ever. Our tailored insurance underwriting and program coverage for NeuGuard demonstrate our commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the data center industry.”

Designed for Operational Continuity

NeuGuard incorporates industrial-grade NeuCool components designed for continuous operation. The system features:

  • Redundancies and hot-swappable components (pumps, power supplies, control boards, and sensors)
  • Minimal intervention requirements for HVAC technicians
  • On-site staff maintenance capability, reducing costs and downtime

Support Network and Global Expansion

Accelsius has established a network of Authorized Service Partners (ASPs) with extensive experience in data center operations. These partners provide lifecycle support from planning to deployment and maintenance. NeuGuard also includes customizable service options, allowing operators to tailor support to their specific needs.

Additionally, Accelsius is expanding its warranty coverage to server-level OEMs globally. Following validation by major OEM providers, the company is introducing SKU-level warranties, ensuring comprehensive coverage for customers alongside NeuGuard.

NeuGuard is available immediately, offering data center operators a structured and insured approach to liquid cooling reliability.
