AREA opens 2026 Women & Youth in Cooling Video Competition in Europe

AREA (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration European Association) has opened the 4th edition (2026) of the Women & Youth in Cooling Video Competition. The initiative recognises technical excellence and best practices in the RACHP sector, and aims to strengthen the visibility of young professionals and women in cooling across Europe.

The competition includes two categories. Category A, “RACHP Youth Best Practice,” is for participants under 25 years of age and focuses on the handling of a refrigeration, air conditioning, or heat pump system. Category B, “RACHP Women in Cooling,” is open to women of any age and covers best practice, design and application excellence in RACHP.

To participate, entrants are asked to record a video demonstrating best practice in one of the categories. Videos can be submitted by uploading to the AREA RACHP Facebook page or by sending them to info@area-eur.be
. The submission deadline is 26 April 2026.

Submissions are accepted in all European languages. AREA says further details, including eligibility criteria and technical specifications, are provided in the Competition Brochure and Specifications available via its link.
