Arto Salonen has been appointed as Managing Director at Viessmann Refrigeration Systems Oy as of 1st of January 2021. Salonen has experience in several international senior management positions and over the past four years he has worked as Head of Operations at Viessmann Porvoo factory in Finland.
At the turn of the year, the company's former Managing Director Joachim Schlichtig took over the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions being responsible for the development of the entire business area's production and product portfolio together with the business area board, the factory management and product development teams.
“Viessmann Refrigeration Systems Oy manufactures refrigeration cabinets and related components. In recent years, the production at the Porvoo factory in Finland has been developed by renewing the product portfolio and production processes with significant related investments. As the managing director, Arto Salonen continues to strengthen the company's competitiveness. His skills and experience complement and support the profitable development of operations in line with our strategy”, says Schlichtig.
