BITZER wins Baden-Württemberg award for energy-efficient compressor

BITZER has received a nomination in the energy efficiency category of the 2025 Environmental Technology Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg. The company was recognized for its CSH2T compact screw compressor, developed for use in high-temperature heat pumps.

The CSH2T series was first presented to the public at Chillventa 2024. According to the company, the compressor is designed specifically for applications in high-temperature heat pumps.

BITZER highlighted the role of such heat pumps in reducing dependence on fossil fuels and decarbonising industrial processes. Several completed research projects have contributed to the development of efficient and reliable compressors for these systems.

The company stated that it collaborates with research institutions and industry partners to support ongoing development and integrate new findings into product design.
