Bluon expands AI tech support integration across BuildOps platform

Bluon has expanded the availability of its AI-powered technical support within BuildOps, the operations platform used by commercial HVAC contractors. The integration now allows all BuildOps users to access Bluon's support tools directly within their workflow.

Initially launched as a pilot in August 2024, the integration was offered to a limited number of BuildOps users. Following strong adoption and positive results, Bluon's AI support is now a standard feature available to all users of the platform.

The expanded integration provides commercial HVAC technicians with guided access to verified equipment data, manuals, detailed specifications, replacement part options, and AI-driven troubleshooting. This allows technicians to diagnose and repair systems without having to leave their workflow or rely on external searches or OEM tech support.

Bluon’s database includes more than 25 million unique model numbers from over 200 OEMs, covering equipment spanning more than five decades. While Bluon is known for its residential support, its commercial HVAC database is significantly larger and tailored to the needs of technicians working with older, complex systems in offices, hospitals, schools, data centers, and industrial facilities.

"After establishing our value with a select group of BuildOps customers, we're excited to make our platform readily available to BuildOps users everywhere," said Peter Capuciati, chief executive officer of Bluon. "Our mission is to provide indispensable technical data and support that increases productivity across the HVAC industry."

Alok Chanani, CEO of BuildOps, added: "In the commercial world, equipment is often decades old, and the information technicians need simply doesn't exist online. Bluon's data fills that gap, helping techs resolve issues faster and present better repair and maintenance options, without disrupting their existing workflows."

The Bluon integration is now available to all users within the BuildOps platform.
