Bravida Denmark acquire ICS Industrial Cooling Systems A/S

Bravida Denmark has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in ICS Industrial Cooling Systems A/S. The company has 67 employees and offices in Roskilde and Vojens. The acquisition requires approval from the Danish competition authorities.

ICS is one of the leading refrigeration companies in Denmark and specializes in solutions for cooling and heating. The company has a large service organization in its Jutland and in Zealand branches. In 2018, ICS had total sales of approximately 120 mDKK.

“I look forward to welcoming all ICS employees to Bravida. ICS's operations will fit well with Bravida and with our efforts to strengthen our service operations throughout Denmark. Through the acquisition, Bravida will gain access to the company's expertise in systems for fruit ripening, industrial cooling and industrial heat pumps, competencies that are increasingly in demand”, says Søren Raun Frahm, regional manager in Bravida Denmark, Region Special.

Jan Lund Pedersen, current CEO of ICS, comments on the acquisition:

“We have many years of experience in the design and production of large systems for industrial cooling. We look forward to becoming part of Bravida. Now our talented employees have the opportunity to continue to develop in a larger group. It has been important for us to find a buyer that creates opportunities for us to continue to develop, and who sees our skills as a specialized business area. This means that we can still offer our customers the best service.”

The acquisition requires approval from the Danish competition authorities.
