CAREL wins the 2020 Business Excellence award in the “Internationalisation” category

Thanks to the outstanding results achieved in 2019 and repeated in the first six months of 2020, despite the difficult market context, CAREL has won the Eccellenze d’Impresa (Business Excellence) award in the “Internationalisation” category. The purpose of this award is to contribute to the successful growth of Italian small and medium-sized enterprises by highlighting lesser-known examples of excellence and rewarding the best performance in terms of innovation, internationalisation, growth and development of human resources and talents.

“I am particularly proud of this award, as it recognises Carel’s internationalisation process, which began in the early 1990s,” commented Francesco Nalini, CAREL’s Chief Executive Officer, during the award ceremony. “Geographical diversification has always been one of our strengths and has helped us become more reactive and resilient, as well as closer to our customers. The strategic decision to replicate our production processes across different plants has also proved to be fundamental in the current context: it has allowed us to quickly shift production from plants affected by lockdown restrictions to others that are fully operational, thus limiting the inconvenience to our customers.”
