Cold Logic Unveils Advanced Defence Testing Facility
Cold Logic, a leading industrial refrigeration company based in Adelaide, announced the launch of a state-of-the-art industrial refrigeration chamber dedicated to testing critical Defence technology under extreme temperatures.

Located at Cold Logic's new multi-million dollar headquarters in Wingfield, Adelaide, this expansive Defence Testing Facility will assess the performance of sensitive, high-tech equipment in volatile environmental conditions. The facility is designed to expose technology such as naval warfare electronics, battle management systems, troop shelters, and vehicles to extreme temperature fluctuations ranging from -33°C to 50°C.

This facility will play a crucial role in supporting major Defence projects like the Collins Class submarines and Hunter Class frigates. It uniquely enables the testing of crucial Defence equipment under the most rigorous conditions found worldwide, such as those in Arctic regions or desert combat zones.

The launch of this facility marks a significant milestone for Cold Logic, enhancing the company’s capacity to contribute to Australia’s sovereign defence capabilities. It stands as a one-of-a-kind center in the country where electronic equipment designed for land, naval, and air applications, requiring operational efficacy in environments like the Middle East, Antarctica, and even space, can be rigorously tested.
