Copeland to acquire Australia-based Bueno Analytics for AI building optimization

Copeland has announced an agreement to acquire Bueno Analytics, an Australian company specializing in AI- and machine learning-based SaaS solutions for building analytics, energy management, and operational efficiency in commercial buildings and the cold chain.

Bueno’s platform is currently deployed across thousands of customer sites globally. The integration with Copeland aims to offer predictive maintenance, energy management, leak detection, workforce efficiency tools, and advanced analytics. According to Copeland, these capabilities will help customers identify energy-saving opportunities and improve facility operations.

The acquisition is expected to strengthen Copeland’s aftermarket portfolio with a data-driven analytics solution designed to support equipment uptime, reduce energy consumption, and extend asset life, while helping customers meet sustainability targets.

“This acquisition will combine Copeland’s leading-edge technologies, broad aftermarket offerings and strong customer relationships with Bueno Analytics’ proven AI-enabled platform and technical capabilities,” said Ross B. Shuster, CEO of Copeland.

Bueno will continue to operate independently until the close of the transaction, which is expected in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
