Daikin to Test Innovative HVAC Systems at Toyota Woven City

Daikin Industries will commence demonstrations from autumn 2025 at Toyota's Woven City in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The initiative aims to develop advanced HVAC systems enhancing comfort and boosting physical and mental well-being.

This effort addresses rising concerns over issues like hay fever, stress, and poor sleep, which impact health and lead to reduced work efficiency and increased medical expenses. As a leader in air solutions, Daikin focuses on creating "pollen-less spaces" to minimize airborne pollen and "personalized functional spaces" to alleviate stress and enhance sleep by managing air quality and audiovisual stimuli.

Toyota Woven City serves as a dynamic testing ground for residents to explore and validate new technologies in real-life settings. Feedback collected from these demonstrations will guide Daikin in refining "pollen-less" and "personalized functional" spaces.
