Epta Expands in Spain with Acquisition of SET Refrigeración

Epta has acquired the business of SET Refrigeración S.L., a Seville-based company specializing in the installation and after-sales service of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The acquisition, effective from 1 February 2025, strengthens Epta’s presence in Spain and enhances its after-sales service network.

SET Refrigeración has been a long-time partner of Epta Iberia SAU and brings extensive experience in the sector. The integration of SET Refrigeración into EptaService’s network in Andalusia is expected to improve service efficiency and quality for customers in the region.

"The acquisition of SET Refrigeración represents an important step forward in our strategic growth in Spain, enhancing our technical support and customer service capabilities," said Marco Nocivelli, President and CEO of Epta. "Geographical diversification is a key pillar of our strategy, as is consolidating our leadership in commercial refrigeration. The expertise of the SET team will enable us to expand our offering and ensure even more innovative, reliable, and efficient solutions to our customers."

The acquisition aligns with Epta’s 2025-2028 strategic plan, which emphasizes service quality and efficiency throughout the lifecycle of refrigeration systems. With this move, Epta reinforces its commitment to delivering reliable and sustainable solutions in the commercial refrigeration sector.
