Epta has inaugurated its CO2 Training Centre in Manila, marking a new era for natural refrigeration in the Asia-Pacific region. The centre aims to update Epta APAC professionals on the latest innovations in commercial refrigeration through a blend of theoretical lessons and on-site simulations using advanced Epta solutions. Practical training includes work on modular CO2 transcritical refrigeration units and Epta's FTE 2.0, ETE, and XTE systems.
The training programs cater to various proficiency levels, offering a comprehensive curriculum from basic to advanced topics with hands-on activities in large stores. This initiative equips Asian market players with essential skills in natural refrigeration technology.
As the Asia-Pacific region shifts towards sustainable refrigeration, prompted by environmental concerns over synthetic gases, Epta's training center supports this transition. According to TechSci Research, natural refrigerants in this region are expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.66% by 2028.
Brad McQueen, APAC Technical Director, stated, "Epta's sustainability strategy includes filling the knowledge gap in the APAC region, a key area for our expansion, and promoting the adoption of natural technologies as part of our Green Transition initiatives."
