Epta's FTE and ETE technology uses CO2

EptaTechnica FTE 2.0 and ETE solutions are among the protagonists of the Sustainable Cold Chain Virtual Exhibition organized by the Ozone Secretariat and OzonAction, part of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).

The initiative was created to present the most innovative and sustainable solutions in the cold chain sector and to underline how a correct cold chain is essential to guarantee food safety and food security, reduce food waste, mitigate global warming and protect the ozone layer. . The digital event was inaugurated on the occasion of World Ozone Day and promoted during the UN Food System Summit and the 33rd Conference of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol.

Within the "Supermarkets: wholesale markets & Retailers" category, the solutions by EptaTechnica, a brand specialized in technical refrigeration solutions, stand out. The FTE Full Transcritical Efficiency 2.0 and ETE Extreme Temperature Efficiency technologies, industrialized as part of Epta's Life-C4R project co-financed by the EU, are designed to guarantee maximum reliability at all latitudes and temperatures, even over 40 ° C. , with an energy saving of at least 10% compared to a traditional CO2 system. Based on the principle of sustainable innovation, FTE 2.0 and ETE ensure a reduced carbon footprint along the entire value chain, in compliance with Life Cycle Climate Performance (LCCP) standards.
