European Heat Pump Association to Launch First Heat Pump Day

The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) will host the inaugural Heat Pump Day on 21 October 2024. This event seeks to boost awareness and adoption of electric heat pumps, which are pivotal in Europe's energy transition and decarbonisation push.

Heat Pump Day will engage partners across Europe to highlight the advantages and experiences of using heat pumps. This technology is transforming heating and cooling in homes and buildings, offering a sustainable, cost-effective alternative to fossil fuels.

The event is inclusive and will feature various activities, both online and in-person. Participants can engage in round tables, information webinars, technical workshops, a photography competition, and a quiz, aiming to familiarize the public with heat pump technology.
