Eurovent and REHVA have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reinforcing their collaboration to promote healthier and more sustainable buildings across Europe.
The agreement continues a long-standing partnership that began in 1999, with updates in 2006 and 2015. Both organisations aim to deepen their cooperation further to support industry-wide harmonisation and innovation in the HVAC sector.
The renewed MoU supports joint efforts in sharing technical knowledge, aligning on European policy developments, and promoting practices that enhance building decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and indoor environmental quality.
Eurovent Board Member Mikael Börjesson stated: “Our renewed partnership with REHVA underscores our shared mission to create a sustainable and healthy indoor environment for all. Collaboration is key to driving innovation and harmonisation across our industry, and we will continue to promote environmentally friendly and affordable HVAC technologies together.”
REHVA President Livio Mazzarella added: “REHVA represents through its member associations more than 120,000 building service engineers in Europe. They need to have support from the European HVAC industry to achieve their goal of a building sustainable design, as well as our industries need their feedback to improve their products.”
