Foster achieve Carbon Trust recertification
Foster has once again been recertified with the Carbon Trust Standard, recognising the company’s carbon reduction achievements over the last two years.

“We are proud to have held the Standard for a decade,” said Dave Sullivan, Director of Operations for Foster and Gamko. “It’s a real testament to our teams - everyone at Foster has worked hard to ensure we lower our carbon footprint and we are already looking at ways to continue our reductions going forward.”

Recertification was awarded after Foster successfully passed the Carbon Trust’s rigorous audit, which found that Foster’s King’s Lynn manufacturing facility had reduced its absolute carbon footprint by 10.7% between the 2017 and 2019.

“We’re delighted to be recertified as we are committed to carbon reduction,” said Warren Bartmeier, HSE Manager for Foster and Gamko. “The Carbon Trust Standard is the most well-known and universally recognisable stamp of approval and one which our customers look for, so they know the product is being made in the most energy-efficient way possible.”
