HAUSER to unveil energy-saving cabinets and refrigeration tech at EuroShop 2026

At EuroShop 2026, HAUSER will present new developments in refrigerated cabinets, refrigeration systems and services at stand C35 in Hall 14. Highlights include the REMETA Connect refrigerated cabinet and the MIRENGO03 Connect Air Eco freezer, both designed for high energy efficiency. The company will also introduce the VITHEA Transformer counter, which can be converted from service to self-service mode, and two innovations in refrigeration technology: the ecoFusion system and a magnetocaloric prototype developed with MAGNOTHERM.

HAUSER's exhibit will feature energy-efficient, durable and cost-effective systems. Sustainability remains a key focus, with the REMETA cabinet using a tray made entirely from recycled plastic and all systems operating with natural refrigerants such as CO2 and propane. The company also addresses space-saving needs with compact furniture from the MIRENGO and VINIA series and the VITHEA Transformer counter.

The REMETA Connect (Water) cabinet offers up to 14% energy savings over the previous REGIUS Connect (Water) model. It includes features such as triple air curtain technology, multi-circuit redundancy, and simplified maintenance. REFINO Connect, a glass door cabinet, incorporates the same Connect technology and is designed for space-efficient installations with Infinity glass doors.

Among HAUSER's freezers, the MIRENGO RMG03 Connect Eco model achieves a class B energy efficiency index and offers 10% more net volume while reducing energy consumption by over 20% compared to standard units. The updated MERANIS06 freezer island features high transparency, low height, and improved service and cleaning access.

The VITHEA Transformer counters demonstrate multifunctional flexibility by allowing quick conversion between service and self-service formats. The VITHANDO self-service counter uses double airflow technology to maintain temperature stability while lowering energy use. The modular VITHEA Gastro counter system offers options for integrating hot food elements and various display geometries.

In refrigeration technology, HAUSER will introduce ecoFusion, developed with Graz University of Technology. This CO2 and propane-based system is designed for efficient operation at ambient temperatures of 45°C and higher and can be integrated into both new and existing installations. The company will also showcase a magnetocaloric cooling prototype developed with MAGNOTHERM, offering a refrigerant-free and low-maintenance alternative to conventional gas compression systems.

“Wherever technically possible and sensible, we use sustainable materials. The longer service life also conserves valuable resources and reduces the CO2 footprint,” said Wolfgang Penn, Team Leader Product Management Systems and Technical Products at HAUSER. On the magnetocaloric project, he added: “The technology is still in its infancy, but promises substantial progress in the performance and service life of refrigeration systems.”
