Hillphoenix Awarded EPA's GreenChill Certification Excellence Again

Hillphoenix has once more received the GreenChill Store Certification Excellence award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This accolade recognizes the company’s leadership in installing the most advanced, sustainable refrigeration systems in GreenChill-Certified Stores over the past year. The company has equipped 777 stores with environmentally friendly systems.

"We are focused on pioneering future-oriented refrigeration solutions," said Scott Martin, Hillphoenix's Director of Business Development and Industry Relations. "It's an honor to be recognized consistently for our impact in sustainable operations."

Hillphoenix, a founding member of the GreenChill program since 2007, has been acknowledged every year since the Store Certification Excellence category was introduced in 2011. "With its 13th consecutive award, Hillphoenix leads the industry alongside these 777 stores," said Bella Maranion, Senior Advisor in EPA’s Stratospheric Protection Division.

Hillphoenix has been at the forefront of sustainable refrigeration, from the introduction of 2Cool systems in the 1990s to its innovative Second Nature systems and the first North American CO2 Transcritical Booster System in 2012. The company continues to deliver natural refrigerant solutions with low global warming potential.
