IMARK Plumbing Group Approves RectorSeal as a Vendor

RectorSeal LLC, Houston, a manufacturer and distributor of quality HVAC/R, plumbing and firestop products, and part of the CSW Industrials, Inc. group of companies, was approved as a vendor by the IMARK Plumbing Group, a vertical of IMARK Group, Bowie, Md., on Jan. 2.

IMARK Group is a multi-vertical, member-owned and member-governed marketing organization of independent distributors that generates annual sales volumes exceeding $28 billion. IMARK Plumbing Group is one of several IMARK Group verticals. Its 652 member companies operate more than 1,300 locations nationwide, which makes it one of the plumbing industry’s largest buying groups. RectorSeal was already an approved vendor of another IMARK Group vertical, Blue Hawk HVAC/R, one of the HVAC/R industry’s largest distributor cooperatives with 216 members, 1,441 locations and aggregate annual sales exceeding $7 billion. Blue Hawk HVAC/R was added to the IMARK Group as a founding member in 2019.

“We are pleased to add RectorSeal as an approved vendor within IMARK Plumbing,” said John Aykroyd, president, IMARK Plumbing. “RectorSeal is recognized as a leading company committed to providing innovative products and solutions that help contractors perform their jobs faster.”

IMARK Plumbing’s RectorSeal approval will benefit all members, but particularly independent wholesalers such as Lion Plumbing Supply, Inc., Miami. “We try to buy every possible product from our IMARK vendors, because those partnerships are very valuable to us,” said Sheri Newman, vice president, Lion Plumbing Supply, a 64-year-old single location wholesaler with a free-standing showroom that offers a diverse mix of commercial and residential products. “Now that RectorSeal is an IMARK Plumbing Group vendor, it will help us grow that relationship.”

“We are excited to expand our relationship with IMARK by joining IMARK Plumbing,” said Jeff Underwood, RectorSeal’s vice president–sales and marketing. “We have had a very successful partnership with Blue Hawk HVAC/R over the last decade.”
