Epta S.p.A. said it has completed the acquisition of Hauser GmbH, closing a deal first announced on 17 July 2025. The transaction, announced on 17 February 2026 by Epta, is scheduled to take effect on 1 March 2026 and creates a combined group with more than €2 billion in pro-forma annual consolidated revenues [approx. $2.2 billion] and around 10,000 employees.
With the closing, Hauser officially becomes part of Epta Group, strengthening Epta’s industrial and geographic presence across Europe. Epta said Hauser has a strong presence in the DACH region and in markets of Central and Eastern Europe, supported by production plants in Austria and the Czech Republic.
Epta said the Hauser brand will add to its portfolio of products and services brands and complement the Group’s value proposition with expertise in turnkey projects and value added services. The company also said the deal enhances Epta’s position as an integrated solution provider, with capabilities across the store life cycle from design and production to installation and after-sales services.
Marco Nocivelli, CEO von Epta, stated: „This operation marks a key milestone in Epta’s long-term strategy. Surpassing the €2 billion revenue threshold is a significant achievement that reflects the strength of our industrial model and further reinforces our leadership in Europe.“ Thomas Loibl, CEO von Hauser, added: "Joining Epta marks a pivotal moment for our company."
