Williams launches UK's first multi-temperature refrigeration units

Williams Refrigeration has introduced the Jade MultiTemp range of counters and cabinets, claimed to be the first in the UK foodservice market to offer multi-temperature capability in a single unit, operating between +8°C and -22°C.

The new MultiTemp models allow caterers to store different food types at their ideal temperatures in one unit, replacing the need for multiple dedicated refrigerators. Applications include storing meat (-2°C to +2°C), ice cream (-10°C to -21°C), and cheese (+5°C to +8°C). Temperature settings can be easily adjusted via an intuitive control panel with 0.1°C precision across the full range.

The line includes five models: two- and three-door counters, one- and two-door cabinets, and a single-door cabinet with two independently controlled half-door sections. All units are built to the same specifications as the existing Jade range, featuring stainless steel construction, natural refrigerants, and consistent footprints.

Additional options include drawer configurations, right-hand side refrigeration units, and WiFi connectivity. The built-in connectivity module enables integration with external systems or Williams’ own platform, supporting remote temperature control, HACCP logging, and trend analysis.

Williams has also published embodied carbon figures for all Jade MultiTemp models, certified by CIBSE and calculated using the TM65 methodology.

“The Jade MultiTemps offer total flexibility,” said Malcolm Harling, sales and marketing director at Williams. “These counters and cabinets are industry-first innovations, giving chefs the ideal storage conditions for all their food types, helping them to create excellence.”
