MOON-TECH Launches Low-Carbon Cold Chain Projects in Yunnan

Two major cold chain supply chain projects - Yunshang Yingjia·Chishuiyuan (Zhenxiong) Southwest Corridor Supply Chain Center and Yunshang Yingjia·Kunming International Supply Chain Demonstration Center - have officially commenced operations in Yunnan. MOON-TECH provided low-carbon, energy-saving solutions for these facilities, drawing positive feedback from industry experts and media representatives.

Zhenxiong Southwest Corridor Supply Chain Center

Spanning approximately 12.3 hectares and backed by an investment of nearly 1 billion yuan, the first phase of the Zhenxiong project was completed in ten months. MOON-TECH developed a carbon reduction strategy covering park design, equipment manufacturing, construction, and system maintenance to establish a benchmark for sustainable cold chain operations.

The center features a trading hub, a high-standard multi-temperature cold storage facility with a refrigeration plant, and a quality control laboratory. The cold storage system utilizes carbon dioxide compound refrigeration technology, ensuring energy efficiency while lowering operational costs.

Kunming International Supply Chain Demonstration Center

Designed to align with Kunming’s logistics and industrial structure, this facility integrates automated agricultural processing, intelligent warehousing, and digital distribution. It includes:

  • Total storage area: 41,000 square meters
  • Temperature range: –55℃ to +15℃

Equipped with an automated high-rise cold storage system and multi-temperature warehouses, the center enhances logistics efficiency through advanced management systems and automated sorting lines. These innovations optimize energy use, reduce emissions, and support the preservation of local agricultural products.

The launch of these projects marks a step forward for Yunnan’s cold chain infrastructure, contributing to regional economic growth and environmental sustainability. MOON-TECH’s solutions reinforce the industry's transition toward a low-carbon future.
