Roland Kasper will step down as President and CEO of Systemair AB after ten years in the role, the company announced. The decision was made in agreement with the Board of Directors, and the search for a successor has begun. Kasper will remain in his position until a new CEO is appointed.
During his decade as CEO, Systemair doubled its turnover and improved profitability. According to the company, these gains were achieved through both organic growth and acquisitions. Kasper also led several restructuring efforts and strengthened the organisation.
"Systemair is well equipped for the future with a strong global organisation and low debt," said Gerald Engström, Chairman of Systemair. “Future focus will be to continue our growth journey with increased profitability, and it is now the right time for a new CEO to develop Systemair forward. The Board wants to thank Roland for the great achievements since he started at Systemair 2007, whereof the last ten years as CEO.”
Kasper joined Systemair in 2007 and was appointed CEO in 2015.
