SEforALL appoints Lolade Abiola as Chief of Staff

Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) has announced the appointment of Lolade Abiola as its new Chief of Staff, succeeding Kanika Chawla. Abiola will oversee strategic planning and leadership operations, supporting teams across the organization in delivering high-impact programmes aimed at achieving universal access to sustainable energy.

Abiola brings over 15 years of experience in renewable energy, international development, aviation, and marine logistics. She previously led SEforALL’s Secretariat and Data Analytics team, supporting Mission 300 partners such as the World Bank Group, African Development Bank, Rockefeller Foundation, and GEAPP in efforts to provide electricity access to 300 million people in Africa by 2030.

Her prior roles include senior positions within the World Bank-funded Nigeria Electrification Project and the Government of Nigeria, including the Office of the Vice President and the Rural Electrification Agency. She contributed to the implementation of Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan, helping to mobilize more than USD 4 billion in financial commitments.

SEforALL noted her track record in bridging strategy and execution and her ability to align policy, financing, and implementation across sectors as key strengths she brings to the role.
