Siren Marine and Dometic launch cloud-based HVAC control for boats

Siren Marine, a provider of Connected Boat technology, has partnered with global outdoor technology company Dometic to introduce the marine industry's first off-boat, cloud-based HVAC control system. The solution, enabled through the Siren 3 Pro platform, allows boat owners to remotely manage cabin temperature and power functions from their smartphones.

The new HVAC control is part of the Siren Connected Boat system and enables users to switch the HVAC on or off and adjust temperature settings before boarding, enhancing comfort and convenience. This integration builds on Siren 3 Pro’s existing capabilities, which include vessel monitoring, tracking, and digital switching features.

The system will be available starting in Fall 2025 through the Siren Mobile app for vessels equipped with the Siren 3 Pro unit and compatible Dometic HVAC models, including the GTX and GVTX lines.

“The cloud-based HVAC control represents a significant step forward in Connected Boat technology,” said Andrew Cullen, Director of Connectivity at Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit. “This innovation demonstrates how connectivity can expand system functionality, laying the groundwork for future integrations.”
