Women in HVACR (WHVACR), a nonprofit organization supporting women in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry, has opened nominations for its 2026 board of directors. Applications will be accepted through October 31, 2025.
Members of WHVACR are invited to apply or nominate candidates via the
organization’s website. The upcoming board will contribute to strategic planning and help drive WHVACR’s mission in mentorship, education, and professional growth for women in the HVACR sector.
The board’s responsibilities include setting long-term goals, ensuring governance aligned with WHVACR values, supporting fundraising and outreach initiatives, and fostering mentorship opportunities within the industry.
Following the nomination deadline, the executive board will review applications and conduct interviews from November 1–15. Final selections will be made by a board vote on November 18.
“We are not just looking for board members, we are looking for trailblazers,” said Kristin Gallup, President of Women in HVACR. “We want visionaries who inspire action, empower other women and leave the HVACR trades stronger, more inclusive and more dynamic than ever before.”
