MOON-TECH wins top prize in Shandong for industrial heat pump project

MOON-TECH wins top prize in Shandong for industrial heat pump project

MOON-TECH has been awarded the First Prize of the 2025 Shandong Provincial Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award for its project titled “R&D and Application of Multi-Scenario, High-Parameter, Wide-Temperature-Range Industrial Heat Pumps.”

The award, granted by the Shandong Machinery Industry Science and Technology Association and approved by the provincial Department of Science and Technology, is the highest honor recognizing achievements in mechanical science and technology in the region. MOON-TECH’s project was selected for its technological innovation and economic and social benefits.

The project focused on solving technical challenges in industrial heat pumps, particularly the limitations of wide-temperature applications and reduced efficiency under high-temperature conditions. By optimizing system architecture and localizing key power components, the team improved the efficiency of industrial waste heat recovery and enhanced overall energy utilization.

The company credits the achievement to its R&D team’s long-term efforts, including multiple rounds of technical verification, experimental testing, and system optimization. MOON-TECH emphasized its ongoing commitment to innovation and sustained R&D investment as key drivers of success.

“This award not only affirms the technical value of the project but also fully recognizes MOON-TECH’s persistence in independent innovation and its long-term strategy of deepening technological R&D,” the company stated.
