Advansor has launched SteelXL Heat Pumps, a range of CO2 heat pumps designed for large-scale applications. Each unit delivers up to 5 MW of heating and 3 MW of cooling, and multiple units can be installed in parallel to provide up to 50 MW of heating.
According to Advansor, SteelXL Heat Pumps can achieve water outlet temperatures of up to 95 °C with a temperature profile of +60/+95 °C. The company says this allows integration with existing piping systems and positions the units as a replacement for gas or oil boilers while meeting current EU F-gas regulations.
Advansor says the units use CO2 as a natural refrigerant and offer a coefficient of performance (COP) of up to 4. The systems include ejectors, permanent magnet motors and variable speed drives, and are CE marked, factory-tested and supplied with pre-programmed controllers for heat pump applications.
The company said the heat pumps are designed for quick commissioning and maintenance, with MODBUS integration for connection to other systems. SteelXL Heat Pumps are intended for applications including food processing industries, district heating and commercial buildings, and Advansor also offers commissioning support and technical training in seven languages.
