Amerikooler has announced the development of an integrated cooler unit system for commercial refrigeration applications. The U.S.-based company said the system is designed to speed assembly, improve installation flexibility, and integrate refrigeration into the cooler structure.
The system uses modular, uniform panels that are fully interchangeable to reduce labeling confusion during assembly. Newly engineered corner and door panels allow builders to adapt configurations, while a plug-style door with cam locks can be positioned along the wall without drilling or trim.
Amerikooler said the system includes a segmented horsepower range from 0.5 to above 1.5 HP (approx. 0.37 to above 1.12 kW) to match capacity to different spaces and applications. The wall-integrated, self-contained refrigeration unit connects directly to power and is installed through a pre-cut door panel insert, using cam locks and screws, with no field cutting required. A standard startup is still required.
Integrated lighting panels include embedded vapor-proof LED fixtures, with wiring and junction boxes built into the panels. Users can choose motion-controlled or standard light switches to simplify lighting configuration and wiring.
The company said the product was developed using experience from custom specification and consulting projects, with the aim of creating faster and more efficient solutions for modern cold storage environments.
