Carrier Japan Enhances Toshiba Heatcle Air Series with New Ceiling Models

Carrier Japan Corporation (CJC) has announced the expansion of its Toshiba Heatcle Air line, a light commercial total heat exchanger series, with the introduction of nine new ceiling models with a humidifier and six ceiling models featuring a direct expansion coil, available with or without a humidifier. These new additions will be available starting September 1, 2024.

The latest models extend CJC’s offerings by incorporating humidifiers into the ceiling lineup and updating existing ceiling and direct expansion coil models. All units are equipped with high-efficiency DC motors, enhancing energy efficiency in ventilation systems. These new models improve indoor air quality, providing high-performance ventilation and design flexibility, while complementing the company's conventional ceiling and under-ceiling models.

The humidifier feature added to existing high-efficiency total heat exchanger models addresses a wider range of customer needs. The direct expansion coil models, available with or without a humidifier, offer diverse choices for VRF system indoor units in buildings, meeting various customer preferences.

The Heatcle Air series key features include:

1) High-volume ventilation with increased external static pressure compared to previous models
2) High-efficiency DC motor for lower energy consumption
3) Optional CO2 and PM2.5 sensor for better air quality monitoring
4) Micro control unit for centralized system management
5) Dropwise evaporative humidifier with a corrugated humidifying element for efficient humidity control

Carrier Japan Corporation President Toru Kubo emphasized the company's commitment to developing products that exceed expectations and deliver added value to customers.
