Carrier Transicold China Introduces New Citimax 280/400 Series Refrigeration Units at SIAL China

Carrier Transicold China’s new Citimax 280 and 400 series transport refrigeration units are making their debut at SIAL China 2018. These new refrigeration solutions – specifically designed for fresh or frozen goods in small-to-medium sized delivery vehicles – help maintain cold chain integrity to ensure temperature-sensitive cargo is delivered in ideal condition. Carrier Transicold China is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

“With the Chinese government emphasizing the importance of food safety, the expansion of the Belt and Road Initiative, and the emergence of the new e-commerce food retail model, the demand for reliable cold chain transportation is growing fast,” said Cynthia Lu, managing director, Carrier Transicold China. “We are committed to providing our customers a full range of transport refrigeration solutions using advanced cold chain equipment and technology, with outstanding after-sales service. Features of the new Citimax 280 and 400 series direct drive units include
  • a new filter-drier-receiver that reduces the risk of ice block and ensures accurate refrigerant charging
  • hydrophilic fins that reduce water splash, increasing food safety
  • accurate defrost control to ensure stable box temperature for optimal performance
  • durable fan motors to increase unit uptime
The complete Citimax range, including the 500 and 700 series, now provides solutions for any size or type of light commercial vehicle, with the flexibility to accommodate both high and low ambient temperatures. Nose mount and roof mount versions are available for all Citimax units.
