Clivet Launches SCREWLINE4-i Series: Advanced Water Cooled Heat Pump

Clivet, a leader in innovative HVAC solutions, proudly announces the launch of the SCREWLINE4-i (WiDHN-KSL1 PL) series, a state-of-the-art water cooled polyvalent heat pump designed for indoor installation. The series utilizes eco-friendly R513A refrigerant and is equipped with advanced inverter screw compressors.

This series is the ideal solution for four-pipe systems (4T configuration), meeting the simultaneous demands for hot and chilled water. Available in the Excellence energy version (EXC), it offers top-tier efficiency in all operating modes, with SEER up to 7.85 and SCOP up to 4.67. The capacity ranges from 440 to 945 kW.

Key Features and Strengths:

Eco-friendly Solution:

The use of R513A refrigerant, which has a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 631, significantly reduces environmental impact compared to traditional R-134a refrigerant (GWP = 1430).

Inverter Screw Technology:

- The inverter dual-rotor screw compressors perfectly match the cooling load of the plant under any condition.
- They allow for great staging, ensuring high efficiency and reducing operating costs.
- They also eliminate the starting current.

Low Noise Operation:

- Standard acoustic configuration (ST): produces sound levels from 97 to 101 dB(A).
- Super-silenced acoustic configuration (EN): reduces noise by 18 dB(A) compared to the ST version, thanks to an integral acoustical enclosure.

Maximum Adaptability:

With capacity modulation from 100% to 20%, dual refrigerant circuits, and the ability to produce hot water up to +55°C during the summer and cold water down to +4°C, the WiDHN-KSL1 PL series can meet diverse operational requirements. Multiple options and accessories ensure it can be tailored to the specific needs of each plant.

The WiDHN-KSL1 PL series meets the stringent requirements of Commission Regulation 2281:2016, effective from January 2021.
