Daikin Launches FWC-D 3x3 Cassette Fan Coil Unit

Daikin has introduced its latest innovation, the FWC-D 3x3 Cassette fan coil unit. This new model is equipped with a BLDC fan motor, offering reduced power consumption and lower noise levels. The unit supports an "open protocol" control capability, enhancing compatibility with building management systems and other HVAC components.

Available in two-panel layouts, the FWC-D 3x3 offers cooling capacities from 6 to 9.7 kW and is part of Daikin's comprehensive BLDC Cassette lineup.

Key Highlights of the FWC-D 3x3 Cassette Range:

1. 2 and 4 Pipe Options: Available in 2-pipe for seasonal mode changes and 4-pipe for simultaneous heating and cooling, offering flexibility across various building areas.

2. Ease of Installation: Factory-mounted valves ensure quicker setup, reliability, and compliance with Daikin's quality standards.

3. Design Flexibility with Four Diffusion Panels: Offers uniform climate control with options for white or black design panels.

4. Open Protocol Compatibility: Allows integration with diverse systems and manufacturers, facilitating easier maintenance and repair.

5. Efficient BLDC Fan Motor: Ensures energy efficiency, reduced wear, and quieter operation compared to conventional motors.

This new product is designed to provide improved thermal comfort and operational efficiency, aligning with Daikin's commitment to innovative HVAC solutions.

Daikin Launches Compact L Air Handling Unit Range for Efficient Ventilation Solutions

Daikin has expanded its air handling units (AHU) portfolio by launching the new Compact L range, designed for the 'compact' market segment. This decentralized ventilation solution is ideal for offices, restaurants, schools, and light commercial applications. The Compact L series, available in six sizes with capacities ranging from 150 to over 4,000 cubic meters per hour, is Eurovent certified.

The Compact L features advanced airflow management, operates in Constant Air Volume (CAV) or Variable Air Volume (VAV) modes, and can be installed in false ceilings to save valuable floor space and reduce noise. Its design includes enhanced features such as dual-stage filtration for improved indoor air quality, a counterflow heat exchanger, and adaptable accessories for various project requirements.

Key advantages of the Compact L include its compact size, scalability, energy efficiency, and plug-and-play installation. With Eurovent certification and compliance with VDI6022-1 hygiene standards, the Compact L also contributes to LEED, WELL, and BREEAM green building protocols.
